Terms & Conditions

We take your satisfaction very seriously. All of our products are “bench tested” before being shipped to you (we do not simply “drop ship” like some of our competitors). We strive for return customers and do whatever it takes to keep you coming back.

Here are the terms and conditions of your purchase with us:

Shipping Terms

  1. Shipping & Delivery

    Please allow at least 24 hours for processing of your order. Standard delivery is 3-7 business days after order processing. Our products ship Monday through Saturday, except for US Postal holidays and New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Lightfair International.

  2. Standard Shipping Rates

    USPS Standard Ground Shipping is free for orders over $100 anywhere in the continental US.

  3. International Shipping

    We Ship internationally – please call 415-563-5517 or email info@shineonled.com for applicable rates.

  4. Shipping problems

    If any product is received damaged, or we make a mistake on your order, please retain the packaging material for FEDEX/USPS/UPS inspection and contact us at info@shineonled.com within 10 business days of receipt of your order.. We will fix the problem as quickly as possible.

  5. Packaging

    We do our best to recycle boxes, paper and shipping materials so that we can lessen our carbon footprint on Mother Earth.

Returns Policy

  1. 90 Day Return Period

    Returns will be accepted on all items received within 3 months (90 days) from date of purchase for store credit or your money back.

  2. Shipping Costs

    Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  3. 10 Days Notification

    Claims on damaged goods that occured during initial shipping from Shine On LED, must be made to Shine On LED within 10 days the package arrived to the purchaser / customer. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt as no claims can be made after 10 days.

  4. Original Packaging

    Please be certain to return your purchase in its original box with the original packaging, or a restocking fee may be charged. Additional packaging may be necessary as contents may have shiftted during flight.

  5. Damage

    Shine On LED cannot be responsible for products damaged due to improper wiring by the customer, and we do test returns to see if the devices were improperly connected. If you need help, call us with questions. If you are not comfortable with the installation, we recommend you hire a licensed electrical contractor in your area to at least walk you through the process. As with any precision electronic component, it only takes a second to damage your new LED product by connecting it improperly.

  6. Manufacturing Defects

    Returns will be accepted if the product has a manufacturing defect or if Shine On LED has shipped incorrect product(s). LED manufacturing defects typically cause failure within the first 2 months of use.

  7. Original Condition

    All returns must be in resalable condition. LEDs that have been mounted cannot be returned. We cannot issue refunds if the product or its packaging looks like it has been kicked here.

  8. Restocking Fee

    A 20% restocking fee may apply to any order that is not received in good condition.

  9. Insurance

    We recommend shipping insurance when sending products back to us. We are not responsible for damages incurred during return shipping due to improper packaging.

  10. Return Shipping

    Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and insurance. However, Shine On LED will pay for shipping charges if the product is defective upon arrival to the customer or if Shine On LED has shipped an incorrect product.

  11. Credits

    Credits are good for a period of 6 months following issuance.
